On January 4, 2021, the Post of Moldova issued a special postmark dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ioan Halippa (1871-1941), theologian, historian, archaeologist and archivist at the time of Bessarabia. Ioan Halippa is the author of numerous archaeological maps of Bessarabia. As head of the Government Scientific Commission of the Bessarabian Archives, he co-authored the monumental three-volume work "The Works of the Province Archives Scientific Commission of Bessarabia 1900, 1902, 1907", a scientific compilation related to historical data on Bessarabia..
