This orthodox church with a very simple and sober style (Neoclassical and Baroque) was originally built (in only 6 months) by and for the Bulgarian community, who then came to take refuge in this region following persecutions of the Ottoman troops. An exterior view of this church (beginning of construction on May 2, 1819, ending on November 3, 1819) with a unique architecture in Moldova, is shown on the pre-printed stamp, the left side of this card showing a part of the inside of the building..
