To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the inauguration of the electric tram in Chişinău, the Post of Moldova has issued on October 12, 2013, a series of 2 stamps + 1 souvenir sheet (design : Vitaliu Pogolşa) devoted to different means of urban transport. Official FDC below (print run : 600 each) about this stamp set, with FDC postmarks from Chişinău, the capital. The souvenir sheet below (print run : 50,000), consisting of one stamp (L 5.75) and one label, evokes this first electric tramway opened in 1913 and whose main line operated on Ștefan cel Mare boulevard, the main street in the center of Chişinău.
