Philatelic Artwork of Vladimir Melnic, Artist and Stamp Designer
|
The main purpose of the Exhibit is to better reflect the philatelic artwork of the artist Vladimir Melnic as a stamp designer, cachet maker and postcard designer. The second purpose is to show a philatelic art on circulated mail. It is also known as mail art or postal/correspondence art. The Exhibit includes also official philatelic material Stamps, FDCs and Maximum Cards designed by the artist for two Postal Authorities, Posta Moldovei and Kyrgyz Express Post, and covers the period from 2003 to 2019. |

Years 2018-2019 are believed to be the golden years of Moldovan Philately where IMPS has a fruitful cooperation with Philatelic Editorial Section of Moldova Post "Timbrofil". |

Moldova - My Homeland
|
The exhibit "Moldova - My Homeland" shows a selection of Maximum Cards of Moldova, with themes from medieval and pre-modern times, until the days since the proclamation of our independence in 1991. History of the State, Historical Monuments, Architectural Heritage, Flora and Fauna, and Cultural Heritage are the main topics of the exhibit. A significant part of the collection is composed of Maximum Cards with Personalized Stamps (P-Stamps MCs). |

Museum Heritage of the Republic of Moldova
|
The purpose of this exhibit focuses on my research to better reflect the heritage of museums in the Republic of Moldova which gives the country its unique identity. The exhibit includes a selection of pucture postcards (double and single-sided) on Moldovan museum themes (artchitectural, artistic, cultural, historic and scientific) from the medieval to the present days. |

Princes of Moldavia

The aim of this exhibit is to tell the story of lines of succession of the princes (rulers, or "domnitori" in Romanian) of the ancient state of the Principality of Moldavia, founded in the 14th century and continuing until the 19th century, as portrayed in the philatelic materials of it's successor, the modern state of the Republic of Moldova, founded in 1991. |
