Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and Georgia were formally established on 25 June 1992. The Ambassador of Moldova in Azerbaijan is accredited to represent the interests of the country in Georgia while Georgia has an embassy in Chişinău since 2014. Both countries have good trade and political relations, being especially members of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development, known as GUAM (also with Ukraine and Azerbaijan). On 25 June 2017, the Post of Moldova put into circulation a new special postmark (design : Lilian Iațco) devoted to the 25th anniversary of these relations between the two countries.. Read more..
