On July 29, 2017, the main post office in Chişinău (MD-2012) hosted for the first time a Postcrossing meeting between members from Moldova and Romania. As a reminder, Postcrossing is a project created in 2005, allowing its members to send and receive postcards (from random people) from all over the world. To date, this website includes about 688,408 members from 211 different countries or territories (more than 42 million cards received).
