The Republic of Moldova has been participating as an independent state at the Olympic Winter Games since 1994 (Lillehammer) and the Post of Moldova issued series of stamps devoted to these winter games in 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014. Curiously, no stamp in the program this year for this 23rd edition of the Olympic Winter Games organized from 9 to 25 February 2018 in Pyeongchang, Korea... However, a special postmark (design: Lilian Iaţco) was put into circulation by the Chişinău Main Post Office (MD-2012) for the duration of these games.. Read more..
