On September 27, 2014, the Post of Moldova has released its 11th pre-stamped envelope of the year, this time devoted to Interpol, the International Criminal Police Organization (ICPO), created in 1923 to promote international police cooperation and the fight against organized crime. This international organization, which is headquartered in my hometown of Lyon since 1989, is today composed of 190 countries (North Korea and several countries of Oceania are not part of it), including Moldova, a member state since September 28, 1994.
