As it's the case every year, the Post of Moldova issued, on April 5, 2014 a stamp dedicated to the celebration of Easter ("Sfintele Paşti" in Moldovan). Designed by Tatiana Gorbatenkaia, that stamp (1.75 L, print run : 200,000) appears to the right on the first day cover below (print run : 300) with a postmark from Chisinau. That stamp evokes several symbols of Easter, in particular in Moldova where most inhabitants are Orthodox Christians, such as lamb, painted eggs, Easter cake, narcissus flowers or willow branches with catkins (a symbol of fertility).
