The Municipal Puppet Theatre "Guguţă" was founded in Chişinău on November 27, 1992 and, since its creation, has been conceived as a theater for children, aimed at strengthening and promoting the cultural values of the Republic of Moldova. Marked by its artistic director Victor Ştefaniuc (1947-2010), author of more than 40 puppet shows, this theater ("Teatrul Municipal de Păpuşi") has performed many times abroad (mainly in Ukraine, Romania and Russia) and has won several awards..
