On October 27, 2022, the Post of Moldova put into circulation a very nice series (3 stamps) illustrating different types of wall carpets from the Căușeni region (southeast of the country), exhibited at the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History in Chișinău. Most of these wall carpets were woven in the second half of the 19th century, featuring a black or red background, on which the patterns of the tree of life, the masked man and the ear of wheat are depicted in the main field.
