The postage stamp features the monument "Victims of Fascism" in Chisinau. It was originally sculpted by Aurel David and first erected in 1982. The monument represents human fists. After years of neglect and vandalism, the monument was completely restored by members of the Jewish Community of Moldova in 2015. The monument is located on the site where, in 1941, over 14 thousand Jews, Gypsies and Russians were exterminated by by the fascist regime.
