On April 8, 2021, the Post of Moldova put into circulation a new definitive series (3 stamps, "Uzuale" in Romanian) illustrating the country's coat of arms (created by Gheorghe Vrabie), adopted in 1990.
As a reminder, these coat of arms (which appear on the national flag) represent a shield placed on a golden eagle which holds in its beak a cross and in its legs, an olive branch (symbolizing peace) and a golden scepter (symbolizing sovereignty)..
