2018: Moldova - World Capital of Wine Tourism

After Georgia in 2016 and Argentina in 2017, the Republic of Moldova organized, on 6 and 7 September 2018, the 3rd Conference of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on wine tourism, in partnership with the Moldovan Government and the National Office of Vine and Wine. The Republic of Moldova was therefore for the occasion the World Capital of Wine Tourism 2018, through this Conference organized at the "Castle Mimi" (end of the 19th century, cf EUROPA 2017 stamp), one of the most prestigious wine production sites in the country..
